The new headquarters of the Official College of Interior Design / Decoration of Bizkaia (CODDB) opens its doors in Bilbao with the clear vocation of becoming a meeting point for knowledge, innovation and design culture.
Spanning over 300 square metres, the new space has been conceived as an environment open to the interior design community, combining areas for professional activity with spaces for meetings, training, presentations and cultural initiatives.
In this context, Bõln is taking part in the project through the Slim collection, which is integrated into the tiered seating of the multi-purpose room. Conceived to accommodate various activities and periods of prolonged use, this area required a balance between comfort and integration with the interior's architectural language. Slim naturally responds to both needs, providing comfort while maintaining the visual coherence of the space.
The new CODDB headquarters demonstrates how interior design can create much more than functional environments. By integrating architecture, furniture and different ways of using space, the project generates the conditions to foster exchange, learning and new connections within the design community.
