From 30 November to 2 December, we took part in Differences unite us, an interiors exhibition at the Spanish Embassy in Tokyo. An initiative of ICEX Espa\u00f1a Exportaci\u00f3n e Inversiones, Interiors from Spain and Interiors from Spain Japan to showcase a wide range of Spanish products, such as furniture, lighting, textiles and construction materials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Differences unite us<\/em> was a fantastic opportunity to present our latest products in Japan. Also to attend different seminars by renowned architects and designers from both countries, who shared their vision on the main theme of the event, their experiences in these two cultures and working together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n One of them was the curator of the event, architect and interior designer Alberto Garc\u00eda of DE-SIGN Inc. Others were architects Natalia Sanz and Takeshi Yamamura of YSLA Architects; designer Hitoshi Kuramoto of Jin Kuramoto Studio Inc; architect and designer Yuichi-ro Yamanaka of S.O.Y. Architectural Environment Laboratory Ltd; and David Minton Alberto and Gorky Beitia-Zandona of Kengo Kuma & Associates. Japan and Spain might seem to be opposites. However, we have witnessed that these countries are not as different as we usually think.
